Abstract

This paper examines the discussion surrounding the economy and migration in the United States of America, focusing on the relationships between corporations, government, media, workers, and Latin American immigrants in the early 1990s. It analyzes the Green Card episode from the series Dinosaurs and uses a method that looks at cinematic and television stories. The results reveal multiple interpretations of economic crisis, immigration, xenophobia, and media influence.
